Individual Therapy

All sessions are tailored to your individual needs, coupled with evidenced based therapeutic approaches that are proven to be most effective. The following proven techniques are used in sessions to effectively minimize symptoms of depression and anxiety, along with general stress and worry, or perhaps coping with a new diagnosis for your child.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps us to better understand how our thoughts inform our behavior. It enhances problem solving skills to cope with difficult situations. And helps to develop a greater sense of confidence in ourselves.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

SFBT focuses on the strengths you already possess. Instead of focusing on problems, time is spent on constructing solutions and building on what already serves you well. Together we will focus on a plan to use your current strengths and established skills and learn new skills to reach the desired outcome.

Care Coordination

Have you noticed that your child often does not respond when you call their name? Or perhaps they are not using early gestures like pointing to something they want you to look at? Do they seem to avoid eye contact? A parent’s intuition is often right and there are resources available to gather more information about your child.

Care Coordination helps your family access these well deserved and much needed resources.

A few of these resources include:

Community Centered Boards like Rocky Mountain Human Services

Early Intervention for children under 3 years old

The Pediatric Personal Care Benefit

Pediatric Home Health therapy such as Speech, Physical, Occupational and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapies

Parent Coaching

Parenting children is one of the most honoring yet difficult tasks we may do in our lives. Each person in your family has a job. Your job is to attach to your child and be the leader.

Revise will help you to fine-tune your plan to support your child with a disability and their siblings to increase harmony in your family. This can include reviewing parenting strategies for children with disabilities, coming up with ideas to create a home environment that supports your child and family, going through behavior strategy tools, or coming up with special ways to connect with your child during the week.
