About
Parents of children with disabilities often set aside their own emotional wellness in order to take care of their child’s needs. At Revise, a disability or complex need is defined as anything that would require support from you, above and beyond what you would typically expect for a child that age.
This can include a child with:
Extra worries or anxiety, A highly sensitive child, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, or ADHD.
Revise Counseling’s Intention for parents is to:
Develop a strong sense of self and balance
Access needed services and referrals for your child
Identify beliefs, priorities, and challenges in parenting to increase satisfaction when relating to your child

I started Revise after years of working with families of children with complex medical and developmental needs. I witnessed parents of children with complex needs, often having very little time, resources, and energy to offer better balance for themselves and their family due to the nature of parenting a child with a disability. My hope is that Revise offers opportunities for balance and support for you and ultimately your family.
I graduated from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work in 2010. Since then, I have dedicated my work to child welfare and working with families of children with complex health care needs.
I love to laugh and believe it is contagious. I try to gain better wellness each day through human connection, faith and hope, eating well, and movement.
I look forward to coming along side you to help you walk through life’s sometimes difficult challenges. And I look forward to celebrating with you the inevitable wins along the way.
